ShipConstructor - In SC2009, NWDOUT as well as direct opening DWG files in Navisworks can make curved plate solids look as wireframe - IssueID 16784

In SC2009, NWDOUT as well as direct opening DWG files in Navisworks can make curved plate solids look as wireframe. For example, consider the following scenario:

1. There is a curved plate in a structure model drawing in SC2009,
2. The 2D Wireframe ACAD Visual Style is enabled,

If the user opens the DWG in Navisworks 2009 or, if the user executes the NWDOUT command in the structure drawing and then open the NWD file in Navisworks 2009, all curved plate solids will look as wireframes while all other objects will look as regular solids. The issue won't happen if the Visual Style in the source DWG file is set to Conceptual or Realistic before exporting to Navisworks.

WorkAround

To ensure that curved plates appear as solids, the user should manually switch to the Conceptual or Realistic Visual Style in the source DWG drawing in AutoCAD before performing the "Export to NWD" operation.
