Product Description

The Trident suite combines global ship modeling, finite element analysis and seakeeping analysis into a single integrated system. Naval architects, structural engineers and ship designers have access to standard ship design tools and leading-edge capabilities, such as fatigue and ultimate strength analysis.

ShipConstructor Partnership

SSI has been working with Martec since early 2006 to integrate their Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with ShipConstructor 2006. This will allow users to create up-to-date FEA models directly from the ShipConstructor model at various levels of detail depending on the purpose of the FEA model being created. Currently the project is in the preliminary stages and rudimentary models have been extracted from ShipConstructor.
