The Modular and Levelled System

The ShipConstructor software suite consists of several task-based modules to enable you to assemble a ShipConstructor package that best fits your needs. Each of the modules provides for many different requirements.

Each ShipConstructor module is available 10 levels from 1 to unlimited. Lower levels offer affordable solutions for a fraction of the cost as they come with the same powerful features, but only a limited by the number of parts that can be created in a project. You can upgrade to higher levels in stages as your projects grow. Of course, there is always the unlimited version, supporting an unlimited number of parts, for very large and complex vessels.

Most modules above can be purchased in Levels 1-9 and Unlimited, with the same powerful functions.

As an example, the approximate requirements for the Structure module are:

A 30’ or 10m boat will contain about 500 structural parts requiring approximately Structure Level 1. Level 1 is available at 10% of the current price of the unlimited version.
A 50’ or 15m vessel can be constructed with about 1000 parts requiring approximately Structure Level 3. Level 3 is available at 30% of the current price of the unlimited version.
A 150’ or 50m tug approximately requires Structure Level 9. Level 9 is available at 90% of the current price of the unlimited version.

Purchase the lower levels if in doubt. Upgrade to higher levels at any time for the difference in price. We will simply send you an electronic key for your lock and you are up and running in just a few minutes.

Licensing Options To Match Your Needs

Perpetual License	Own ShipConstructor licenses for life. Perpetual Licenses offer time-unlimited usage of the software and come with free Upgrades, Maintenance & Support for the first 90 days from the date of delivery of the software.
Annual Renewable License	Distribute your payments over several years and realize potential tax savings. Annual Renewable licenses are available at 33% per year of the current Perpetual License price. Mandatory 20% for Upgrades, Maintenance & Support will be added from day one.
Lease License	Adjust the number of licenses and levels to your actual needs, month by month. Lease Licenses are available at a cost of 10% per month of the current Perpetual License price plus a mandatory 20% for Upgrades, Maintenance & Support from day one. At any time, you may apply 80% of the monthly lease payments paid to date towards the price of a Perpetual License for any ShipConstructor module.
Rent License	Cover short high demand periods when you have additional ShipConstructor users onboard. Rent Licenses are available on a month-to-month basis at a cost of 7% per month of the current Perpetual License price, plus a mandatory 20% for Upgrades, Maintenance & Support from day one.

Local Locks Or Network Locks - Your Choice

ShipConstructor module licenses are protected by a Local or Network hardware lock. Independent of the lock type, all users can work on the same project on a network.

Add flexibility and let many users access the same license, by upgrading to a network lock. Network locks let you time-share the licenses among several users, and are available at an additional 15% of the current list price. List price includes software and UM&S.

Upgrades, Maintenance & Support (UM&S)

With your UM&S contract you not only receive free upgrades for your software but also gain direct access to our technical support team. Our development team will help you to tackle difficult production problems and often provide you with immediate solutions.

For Perpetual Licenses, UM&S is complimentary for the first 90 days, and is available at 20% per year of the current Perpetual License list price thereafter.
