Whether you have three users or more than 100 users, managing user access to ShipConstructor projects ensures that your data is safe from prying eyes and from accidental damage.

User management starts at the project level and can be accessed through the ShipConstructor Administrator interface. With the ShipConstructor Administrator, you grant or deny individual users access to projects.

In the next step you use the ShipConstructor Manager to tailor permissions for each user. There are virtually hundreds of options available. Fine tuning the permissions prevents accidental damage by inexperienced users and ensures that only qualified team members are able to change project critical parameters.

Managing a large number of users is immensely simplified with the user templates, which allows configuring typical types of users and then applying the correct settings with a single click.
