Training
People trained
in ShipConstructor are in high demand all over the
world. We are pleased to offer five programs that are helping bring new
people into the industry to meet this demand.
TRAINING OPTIONS
Training is offered through the following 5 programs:
ON_LINE TRAINING CENTRE
Go on-line, work through the tutorials in your own time, gain valuable skills and an understanding of 3D ship production modeling. Work with an experienced trainer one-on-one, or view recorded prior training sessions
CENTRALIZED TRAINING
We offer centralized training at four locations world-wide. Scroll down to find the training center closest to you!
ON-SITE TRAINING
You understand the basics - lets apply them to your upcoming project! We do not lecture, or run through canned "lessons" - we take your next project and get you running effectively and efficiently - a real leg-up for both production and management!
SYMPOSIUMS
Check our listing of the trade shows we will be attending, and we can always coordinate a day or two intensive training for you!
UNIVERSITY TRAINING
In partnership with several Universities and Technical Colleges world-wide, ShipConstructor software has become an effective training tool to help fill the gap in skilled and knowledgeable marine and shipyard staff. Recent initiatives include that of the 3 year diploma from Memorial University in Newfoundland, and Continuing Education courses currently under development in concert with the University of Wisconsin Colleges and the University of Southern Alabama.
ON-LINE TRAINING CENTRE
On-line videos, self marking quizzes, exercises built around hands on work within a large vessel model, translatable explanatory text and links to interactive on-line VOIP and virtual classroom training (often one-on-one) with a trainer.
